Naturals : Olive Hair Serum by WATSONS

I was browsing in Watsons the other day and I came across their Naturals line. I was intrigued by their olive hair serum as the packaging was nice and I was in need of a hair serum.The verdict : I love this product. 

It claims to revitalise hair and retain moisture. It also says that it nourishes hair and boosts shine leaving hair smooth and tangle free.

Personally I use it as a detangler and it works fantastically. It does nourish my hair and leaves my hair smooth and tangle free. But I honestly don't see any visible shine after using it. 

I love using it also as a de-frizzer. After I wash my hair, my hair tends to get real frizzy on the first day. But if I use this, I can actually go out in public with my hair down and it does not end up looking like I got an electric shock. It keeps my hair smooth and manageable. 

I use about two to three pumps of this on wet hair and just leave it to air-dry. Just coat your hair with the serum using your fingers to detangle and make sure all the serum leaves your palms and your palms dont feel oily. Avoid using too much as it can look really oily after your hair drys. 

The scent is pleasant and not at all overpowering. I would not recommend using this without washing your hair and when its not wet unless you have really dry hair and need intense shine.

The price is quite reasonable considering the price of other hair serums. Its around the RM 20.00 mark. I think its worth the money and would definitely repurchase it.

SIMPLE Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Wash gel Review :)

Hey guys!!! New blog!! Finally decided to start a blog. :) 

So today I am going to review the SIMPLE Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Wash gel. I personally prefer gel based facial cleansers rather than the cream based ones or the ones with like exfoliating beads in them. I feel they are a bit too harsh for everyday use.

I don't have major acne problems but I did have to deal with quite a lot cropping up during exams and during my menstrual cycles. It would take forever to get rid of those and I looked really bad.

But when I tried this facial wash I was amazed that my skin cleared up so well. It was not quick but that's probably because of  the number of ingredients in it and how potent they are. Its a completely colourless gel and unfortunately has a bit of an unpleasant scent to it probably due to the lack of fragrance in it.

My skin felt so smooth and refreshed after using it. Don't underestimate it's cleaning effectiveness because it was pretty good at clearing all the grime and dust on my face at the end of the day. Plus I live in an industrial area.

I use it twice a day and finish of with my Simple moisturizer (which I shall review soon) and my skin stayed hydrated and fresh the entire day. I also recommended it to a friend who has more serious acne problems and she loves it. I noticed a difference in her skin just after a week of usage.

It can be a tad bit pricey at RM 19.90 but totally worth it in my opinion.
You can purchase it in any leading drugstore or supermarket. I got mine in Tesco.
